Unfortunately, some famous names will not be competing in the ring at this year’s “Showcase of the Immortals.” One of those names is CM Punk, who is thought to have been set for a World Heavyweight Championship fight with Seth Rollins before sustaining a torn triceps. Shotzi will also miss this year’s two-night extravaganza after suffering a torn ACL during a WWE NXT taping.
While another well-known figure will not be competing at WrestleMania 40, this former multiple-time women’s champion will be present throughout the weekend.
Charlotte Flair will visit WWE World on April 6, the same day as WrestleMania XL’s first night.

As stated in WWE’s X post, a VIP ticket will allow fans to meet and greet Charlotte. “The Queen” sustained a ruptured ACL in late 2023. She won’t be cured in time to wrestle at “The Granddaddy of Them All,” but with her guaranteed attendance at WWE World, one has to wonder if she’ll be able to appear on camera.
Charlotte Flair joins two-time men’s Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes, World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, and Monday Night Raw color commentator Pat McAfee as confirmed WWE World participants.
